Fishing

We would like to invite you to join us for the finest saltwater fishing adventure in Alaska. Our lodge is a modern facility located on five privately owned ocean-front acres, with the nearest neighbors miles away. We provide comfortable accommodations with private bedrooms and delicious home cooked meals for the hardiest appetite. Lunches are enjoyed on the boat to maximize your day of fishing.

After returning to the lodge, relax your fishing-weary muscles in a steamy hot shower. Enjoy our ocean view sitting room, a mere 30 feet off the water. End your day recounting the one that "didn't get away" as the sun slips below the ice-covered peaks of Kodiak Island.

Brian has more than 40 years of experience professionally guiding fisherman to their adventure of a lifetime. We know how to do it right. Our Boat

 
The F/V Streamer is a 40-foot charter boat built by Westport Marine. Though it was originally designed to take 18 fishermen salmon and halibut fishing in the Pacific Northwest, we limit our numbers to six to ensure plenty of room for the fight of a lifetime. Equipped with a warm stove, full galley, head, walk around deck, and plenty of seating. Streamer was designed for sport fishing. All equipment is consistently updated to provide you with a safe, warm, dry, stable fishing adventure.

King Salmon

 

Also known as chinook, these are the heavy weights of the salmon world. These great fighters average 35 pounds and often climb to 50+ pounds. Our fishing grounds hold great numbers of kings May through September, but are best in May, June, and early July before he cohos arrive. Battling big bright king salmon in salt water is an experience to be remembered for a lifetime.

Halibut

 

The Pacific halibut is legendary for both barn door size and quality as table fare. These migratory fish are available May through September as they travel into the shallows to feed. Fish over 100 pounds are common and may be three times that size. Whether hunting a huge trophy or filling the freezer, halibut fishing is great fun, with an occasional fight that can exhaust even the strongest of fisherman.

Coho

   

Known for its for its fighting ability, great numbers, and voracious appetite, the coho - also known as silver - salmon is a favorite of many anglers. Action is often fast and furious and cab be chaotic, with multiple hook-ups and screaming drags. Our cohos show up the second half of July and last into mid-September. Averaging 10 to 12 pounds and often reaching 15+ pounds, these scrappers deserve their great reputation.

Ling Cod and Rockfish

   
Great eating and available all year, these fish inhabit many reefs and rock piles throughout our fishing grounds. Often producing non-stop action and a good fight on light gear, they can be a great variation and a welcome addition to the freezer.
